The day surely is brighter for all the Ranveer Singh fans in the town. The Gully Boy star is set to hit the theatres once again, and this time with a social-comedy entertainer. The trailer of Singh’s upcoming movie ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ is finally out and has set the social media on fire. Why? Know here!
In Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the lead role who is the son of extremely orthodox parents. Played by Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. Irani is also the sarpanch of the village, who is keen for the birth of a grandson. But on the other hand, Ranveer Singh is the odd one out in the male dominant society. He believes that daughter or son, they means the same just like the Bhagwan ka prasad; we don’t make wishes about what we want.
In the film, Shalini Pandey will be seen playing Ranveer’s wife and pregnant with a baby girl. And as soon as Ranveer finds out that he’s again set to become a father to a daughter, he runs away with his wife to save his unborn daughter’s life. What happens next and what troubles will he face in his journey are all that will be included in the movie.
The film’s theme indeed has impressed us, but what amazed us, even more, is Ranveer Singh’s massive transformation. Ranveer in the shell of a Gujarati boy has already shown his astonishing grip on the character in the trailer of fewer than 3 minutes. From his body language to his dialogue delivery and his moves on the Gujarati beats, everything is going to make this film loved in Gujarat once again. Earlier, Ranveer stunned the fans as a Gujarati guy in superhit movie Ramleela, released in 2013.
Coming to the credits, Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been written and directed by actor Divyang Thakkar, who’s going to mark his directorial debut with this movie. The film is set to hit the silver screens on 13 May. Check out its trailer here;
