Another day for the Punjabi cinema fans to cheer. The official release date of the most awaited Punjabi film, Kali Jotta, has been finally announced. It is set to make its worldwide theatrical release on 25 March, 2022. Neeru Bajwa uploaded an Instagram post to make the important announcement.
The movie stars Satinder Sartaaj, Neeru Bajwa and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. The trio will be working together on a Punjabi film for the first time. Individually, all three are some of the biggest and the most respected faces in the Punjabi Industry. Satinder Sartaaj has previously played the lead roles in ‘The Black Prince’ and ‘Ikko Mikke’.
Neeru Bajwa is without a doubt the biggest female star in the Punjabi film industry, who’s done some of the most memorable roles. Wamiqa Gabbi has taken the modern industry like a storm. She has even made her entry into the Bollywood and OTT world. With a strong cast, Kali Jotta is expected to shatter many records.
The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and presented in a collaborative effort by Neeru Bajwa Entertainment, U&I films and VH Entertainment companies. It is produced by Sunny Raj, Varun Arora, Sarla Rani and Santosh Subhash Thite. Popular music producer, Beat Minister has done the music of the film and Harinder Kour has written the story. 25 March, 2022 is the date to watch out for when the most anticipated film will finally make its official release!
