Kangana Ranaut On Her Upcoming Film EMERGENCY, ‘No One Can Do It Better Than Me’

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is again hitting the headlines. On Wednesday evening the actress took to social media platform Koo to share that she will be directing her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ based on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Kangana announced that she will not only direct but also feature in her upcoming film ‘Emergency’.

This political drama has been written by Ritesh Shah, who has also worked in hit films like Pink, D-Day, Kahaani sequel among others to his credit.

Talking about Kangana’s views on Emergency, “Pleased to wear director’s hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high. This is going to be a tremendous journey, my leap to another league #Emergency #Indira.”

The actress even clarified that Emergency is not a biopic but it’s more like a political drama that will help the youth to understand the current socio-political scenario of India.
