There is no news about the release of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’. After being postponed several times, the actress is now frustrated. The censor board did not give a certificate to this movie which was to be released on 6 September.
At the same time, many Sikh organizations have also opposed the release of the film and claimed that this film presents their community in a negative light. Now the actress said that only a few people have objections to this movie. She questioned those who defended Bhindranwale and said that he was not a saint but a terrorist.
Kangana Ranaut said in the ‘News18 India Chaupal Program’, ‘This is our history which has been deliberately hidden. We were not told about it. This is not the era of good people. My film is ready for release. It has got a certificate from the censor board. 4 historians have seen our film.’
Kangana Ranaut further said, ‘We also have valid documents. There is nothing wrong in my film but some people call Bhindranwale a saint, revolutionary or leader. They threatened through arguments. I have also received threats. Previous governments have declared Khalistanis as terrorists. He was not a saint who was sitting in a temple with an AK47.’
Kangana Ranaut further said, ‘Only a few people have objections to my film, they are also provoking others. I don’t think 99 percent of the people of Punjab consider Bhindranwale a saint. He is a terrorist and if he is a terrorist, then my film should be released.’ Kangana further said that she has also suffered financial loss due to the postponement of her film.
