Kangana Ranaut had said a few days ago that she will definitely make a film with the three Khans of the industry i.e. Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan and will try to showcase their talent, which no one has done till date. Although she never wanted to do a film with these three before.
Actresses like Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan furthered their careers by working with them. At the same time, Kangana, as a female artist, wanted to break this trend so that she could become the only A-list actress not to work with Khan films.
Kangana Ranaut has praised the nature of all three Khans in Raj Shamani’s podcast. However, it has also been said that she cannot be the heroine of any of these three films. She said ‘I refused Khan-starrer films. All the Khans are very good to me, they are very kind to me, and they never misbehaved with me. Yes, there are people who have misbehaved with me, but Khans are not among them’.
Kangana Ranaut further said, ‘But I refused their films because the films are prototypes in which the actress will have two scenes and one song. That’s why I said I don’t want to do that. I want to be an example of a woman who is an A-lister, a top actress and who has not worked with the Khans’.
She further said that she wants to be known as the actress who reached the top without the help of Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan or Aamir Khan. She further said, ‘I wanted to perform my best for the women who were going to come after me and no Khan can make you successful, no Kumar can make you successful, no Kapoor can make you successful. I refused Ranbir Kapoor’s films, I refused Akshay Kumar’s films. I didn’t want to be such a prototype that only a hero can make a heroine successful. It is not so, you can be successful on your own also. I set that example’.
Kangana Ranaut also said during this time that her journey was more difficult than Shahrukh Khan’s because the actor had come to Mumbai from Delhi. Whereas she had come to Mumbai from a village in the mountains. ‘I and Shahrukh Khan are two outsiders. Shahrukh Khan comes from Delhi, he is not from the film industry. He became the biggest star. I come from the mountains. His mother was a magistrate. He comes from a family that can speak good English, he comes from a convent. Coming from Delhi to Mumbai, it is not much difference. I come from a village, I am a girl, and I was young when I came. My journey is more difficult.’
