No person who proudly calls himself a proud Bollywood fan is unaware of how close Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar are. Karan launched Alia with Student of The Year and gave Alia’s career a kick start. They both share a beautiful and very special bond that’s why Karan was included in the very private wedding ceremonies of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
But did you know the grand Punjabi wedding turned out to be super fun due to some in-house chaos and hilarious moments? And one such incident is connected with Johar himself. It happened during the Mehendi Ceremony when Karan too got henna applied on his hands for the first time in life. But since he wasn’t familiar and used to it, he forgot that he had henna on, and started wiping all the sweat from his face and hair. And it was the moment when he knew he had messed up. All the henna got transferred to his face and hair and it was a chaos.

But fortunately, the Bollywood director was saved by Alia’s makeup artist Puneet who applied lotions on his face to get rid of the henna and its color. Talking about the same, Johar said, “Waha Puneet hai, jo Alia ki makeup karti hai, toh wo andar chali gayi and mujhe pata nahi kya kya lotion daal dia mere chehre pe. Warna poora henna jo hai na mere chehre pe hota..”

Karan Johar recalled this incident in an episode of TV reality show Hunarbaaz. To this, comedian Bharti Singh’s reaction was the funniest as she thanked God that the people applied makeup and lotions on Karan Johar as otherwise it would look like someone ate paan and then did it on his face.
The Alia-Ranbir wedding took place on 14 April and was attended by limited and very close guests. The wedding trended on social media and treated the fans with beautiful pictures and videos of the celebrations.
