After KGF Chapter 2 became a massive hit among fans and critics, it attracted more big opportunities and offers to Yash’s doorstep. It is reported that not only more Kannada films, but various Bollywood filmmakers are also keen to collaborate with the superstar. And in fact, various Bollywood offers are showing on Yash.
On the other hand, Ayan Mukherji’s fantasy adventure film Brahmastra also did a great job as it became the highest-grosser Bollywood movie of the year 2022. And following its success, the makers also announced its sequel which will be led by characters Dev and Amrita.

Both of these characters were teased in Brahmastra and made fans wonder who will be finally cast for these roles. While it is believed that Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play Amrita in Brahmastra 2, fans are still confused about Dev’s character. Names of celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan were doing rounds on the internet before KGF’s Yash also joined the league.
It was recently reported that Yash has been offered to play the lead role in Brahmastra 2. A source close to the development stated that Yash is yet to make the final call on the offer. And now, Brahmastra’s producer Karan Johar has also reacted to the trending news.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Karan Johar rubbished the rumors and called the news fake. He said, “This is all rubbish. We haven’t approached anyone.”
There is no official comment on the same from Yash’s side, hence nothing can be concluded here. Moreover, it is said that Hrithik Roshan is the first choice of the makers to play Dev in Brahmastra 2.

A source close to the development stated, “Hrithik is the first choice to play Dev in Brahmastra 2. But his own home production Krrish is getting ready for a fourth instalment. So far Hrithik’s father (producer-director) Rakesh Roshan has not been able to crack the plot for Krrish 4. But he is on the verge of it. And if Krrish 4 goes on the floors anytime in the next six months, Hrithik wouldn’t like to do another super-hero film with another production house.”
The makers of Brahmastra are yet to finalise the star cast and make the announcement public.
