Kinne Aye Kinne Gye 3 Review: Ranjit Bawa & Lovely Noor Throw Yet Again A Tight Slap On Society’s Face

Ranjit Bawa and Lovely Noor released the third installment of their song series ‘Kinne Aye Kinne Gye’. Kinne Aye Kinne Gye 3 is penned by Lovely Noor and has Ranjit Bawa’s vocals, while M.Vee has produced the music for the song.

The song, like its predecessors, once again talks about the true face of the society and is an attempt to raise awareness among people about what is going wrong yet the society seems to completely ignore it, specifically Punjabis. The song talks about the incidents at the Golden Temple from 1 June to 6 June when the Indian Army entered the temple with Tanks and fired bullets inside the temple premises.

It then goes on to talk about the slowly vanishing Punjabi language and how the Punjabi community is completely unaware of its literary legends like ‘Parsidh Sikh Bibiyan’. Ranjit also takes a shot at the artists who call themselves Punjabis yet don’t even know how to correctly pronounce Punjabi words.

The song also comments on the stumbling agriculture of Punjab, the issue of water scarcity and people fighting among themselves over Political parties. Narrating the tales of the ancient and modern Punjabi bravehearts, the song reaches its conclusion.

Kinne Aye Kinne Gye series has had 3 songs so far and all of them have been some of the best literary works in the modern Punjabi Music Industry. It’s been a trend in the Music Industry to stay away from delicate issues but Ranjit Bawa and Lovely Noor do not believe likewise.

The duo is not afraid to put their views forward and attempt to educate the youth about their history, about what’s happening around in their society and how they are a part of it. Things do not always go right for the duo, as they have been surrounded by controversies for their songs before, but kudos to their bravery! A few controversies do not stop them from spitting facts yet again!
