Script writer Imtiaz Ali has shared his excitement and wrote ‘Laila Majnu back on popular demand!!! gratitude to your love that pulled it into theatres again after six years!! re-releasing 9th Aug ’24 in cinemas nationwide’.

In an interview with IANS, Triptii Dimri shared that she never auditioned for her role in ‘Laila Majnu’. Instead, she was discovered by the film’s casting head, who suggested she audition given her Kashmiri looks. This gave her this role, which started her career.
