LoP Partap Singh Bajwa Slams The AAP Government Over Its Unfulfilled Promises

Partap Singh Bajwa, the leader of the opposition in the Punjab assembly, has once again lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party government. Taking a dig, he stated that the AAP government would be completing its 6 months of tenure soon, but people are still waiting for at least one of his announcements to be fulfilled.

Slamming the government over its unfulfilled promises, Bajwa said that the chief minister has no plans for the development of Punjab, but has expansion plans for his party instead. The AAP government, no matter how big claims it makes, has failed to deliver on each and every front. “The actual leaders of this government are sitting in the national capital, facing questions by the CBI,” he further added.

He further slammed the AAP government, adding that it’s for the first time in the history of Punjab that the entire cabinet has no previous administrative experience. “People can rarely see them at the Punjab secretariat. They are busy roaming around in various departments to get limelight on social media.

He stated that despite the completion of almost six months of the Aam Aadmi Party government’s tenure, the people of Punjab are waiting for even one of the AAP’s promises to get delivered. “The Aam Aadmi Party leaders must read the history and stop idolising Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh. They know nothing about history,” he further added.

Partap Singh Bajwa is one of the most senior leaders of the Congress party in Punjab. The MLA from the Qadian assembly had served as the president of the PPCC before 2017. In the recent assembly elections, despite the statewide wave of the Aam Aadmi Party, Bajwa was able to achieve victory as the INC candidate from Qadian.
