Maha Political Crisis: NCP’s Full Support To Uddhav, “Will Prove Majority On The Floor Of The House,” Says Pawar

Amidst the ongoing political crisis and defection of more than 37 MLAs of Shivsena, the NCP chief Sharad Pawar has once again cleared that his party is intactly supporting the MVA government and CM Uddhav Thackeray. “Whether the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has the majority or not, will be decided on the floor of the house,” said Sharad Pawar.

Pawar further added that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government (the alliance government of Shivsena, NCP and Congress) has full majority, which will be proved on the house of the floor. “One day or the other, all the rebels have to come to Mumbai. They should come and speak here in Mumbai, not in Guwahati or Surat. The MVA government will definitely prove its majority on the floor of the house.”

Pawar even reminded those who earlier left Shivsena and joined other parties like Narayan Rane and Chhagan Bhujbal, and how they faced defeat after leaving Shivsena.

After Pawar’s shocking claim despite more than 37 Shivsena MLAs’ rebellion step, BJP leader Narayan Rane blamed Sharad Pawar of threatening the rebel MLAs of Shivsena, adding that the MLAs will come to Mumbai and vote with their will. “If any of the rebel MLA is harmed, there will be consequences and it will be difficult for the responsibles to go home” said BJP leader Rane.

After Rane’s remarks on Pawar, Shivsena MP Sanjay Raut slammed Rane, alleging him of threatening Sharad Pawar which won’t be tolerated at any cost. Narayan Rane is a former CM of Maharashtra, who once used to be a heavyweight leader in Shivsena, but left the party and joined the Indian National Congress in 2005, and then jumped ship and joined the BJP later on.

The political tussle going on in Maharashtra has now reached the Supreme Court, which will be hearing the case on Wednesday.
