Ni Main Sass Kuttni: Manisha Gulati Clears The Misunderstanding. Calls The Film A Must Watch

The upcoming Punjabi movie Ni Main Sass Kuttni had become the talk of the town after getting involved in a controversy unexpectedly with Manisha Gulati. Manisha, the Punjab State Women Commission chairperson, recently arranged a press conference where she interacted with the media and talked about the film once again. 

In the latest conference, Manisha first addressed her misunderstanding about the film’s title. Thinking of ‘Ni Main Sass Kuttni’ as a title which might promote domestic violence in Punjab’s culture, she had raised an objection against the film and the issue made headlines. But now, she has stated that all her concerns were answered after she watched the film’s premiere. 

Praising the film, Manisha stated, ‘Ni Main Sass Kuttni is a beautiful film with a very positive message. This is the kind of film everyone must watch and I have loved the film very much.’ Manisha also stated that she’s proud of the film’s team as they have highlighted a very true topic that will be relatable to most people.

Talking about the anonymous person who filed the complaint against the film’s team, Manisha also said that strict actions will be taken against the person.  With this, she continued to praise the film’s theme and producer and even revealed that this film is close to her heart. 

She also appealed to and requested people in Punjab and abroad to watch the film as it was the first time in history that a producer brought out such a nice topic. And talking about her misunderstandings about the film’s title, she clarified that the Punjab Women commission’s motive is not to harass anyone. ‘In fact, my only concern is the development of youth in Punjab. Hence, the makers should also think before deciding on the title of the films. And should bring such things in the commission’s notice prior. They should make us watch the film and know what its story is.’, she added. 

Throughout the conference, Manisha stated the upcoming punjabi film as a must watch a number of times and also continued to praise it and advise people to watch it. And before concluding the interaction, Manisha also stated that strict actions will be taken against the people who are blackmailing the film’s team and threatening them of spoiling the film and murder as well. It looks like the troubles for Ni Main Sass Kuttni have finally come to an end and the film is ready to witness a calm release on 29 April.
