The fans of Punjabi Cinema are enjoying their lives to the fullest as various movies are releasing one after another this year. While some movies have already seen the daylight, some are scheduled to hit the theaters soon, and on top of that there are various new projects which are still being announced. Tarsem Jassar also unveiled the release date of his upcoming project.
Jassar took to his Instagram account, shared the poster of his upcoming movie and also announced its release date. The upcoming film is titled, ‘Mera Laung Gawacha’ and is set to hit the silver screens on 16th September, 2022. The film is being presented by Vehli Janta Films & Omjee Star Studios, is being produced by Manpreet Johal and Ashu Munish Sahni.
The story of this upcoming movie has been written by Inderpal Singh, and apart from this, no more details about the same have been revealed. The information about the star cast and director of the movie is still awaited and expected to be out soon. Mentioning more about Tarsem’s workfront, he is all set to witness the release of his awaited movie Galwakdi, on 8th April. It stars Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles, and was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on 31st January. It was postponed due to the rising COVID cases, and now after 3 months, it’s finally ready to garner immense love and appreciation from the fans.
