Bollywood is back with the full precautions and safety, and today we come up with a list of Bollywood films that are scheduled to release in 2021.

Sooryavanshi

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming action film which is directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is going to release in this Holi, as the movie is was announced towards the end of Simba that served as a character introduction of Sooryavanshi, produced by Shetty in association with Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films banners it features, the film features Katrina Kaif, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Javed Jeffery.

Upcoming sports drama film 83 is going to release in the month of April, The film focused on the life of Kapil Dev as actor Ranveer Kapoor playing the lead role, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj, Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiya, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, and Amrita Puri, the film is directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is earlier scheduled for theatrical release on 10 April 2020, 83 was pushed to Christmas 2020 due to COVID-19 and now makers decided to release the film in the month of April 2021.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

The most awaited film of 2020 is Radhe but due to the Corona Virus pandemic makers decided to postpone the film, and now Salman Khan’s film Radhe is going to hit the theater’s this Eid, Film features Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Megha Akash, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, Radhe is directed by the Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri.

Maidaan

Biographical sports film which is based on the golden era of Indian football, the film starring Ajay Devgun as football Coach Syed Abdul Rahim, the film is scheduled for worldwide release in theatres on this Dussehra means 15th, October 2021, Maidaan is directed by Amit Sharma and produced by Zee Studios in collaboration with Bayview Projects LLP.

Pathan

King Khan is back on the big screen with his upcoming film Pathan from Rajkumar Hirani’s next to a film with south director Atlee, Deepika Padukone has now confirmed that his next release is Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, Makers decided to release the film on this Diwali.

Hurdang

Romantic Hindi film “Hurdang” is going knock the theaters by this February, the film starring by the Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Vijay Verma in the main leads even movie includes the child actors Viraj Kapoor and Nitanshi Goel, the story is based on students agitation of the 1990s, Hurdang is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt and Produced by Shailesh R Singh under his banner of Karma Media and Entertainment.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar

Starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra follow the story of a man and woman who represent two completely different Indians. Pinkesh “Pinky” Dahiya is a Haryanavi Police Officer while Sandeep Kaur is someone from the corporate world. However, they are united by their mistrust, suspicion, and hatred for each other. The movie is directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee makers of the film scheduled to release this February.

Roohi Afzana

Comedy horror film Roohi Afzana is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, a film starring Rajkumar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Sharma, and Alexx O’Nell, film story is based on a ghost who abducts brides on their honeymoon, The film was set to release in June 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India interrupted production and now makers decided to release the film in March.

Hathi Mere Sathi

Indian drama film which is directed by Prabhu Solomon, movie features Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles, the film was announced on 13 December 2017 with the first look released on 1 January 2018, the film is scheduled to be released on 26 March 2021

Bunty Aur Babli 2

Team Bunty and Babli 2 is all set to entertain the audience with the crime comedy, which is directed by Varun V Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, Bunty Aur Babli 2 is the official sequel of the 2005 blockbuster Bunty and Babli, the film features Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, The film was announced on 17 December 2019 and filming started on the same but due to COVID-19 makers hit the cinema hall in March 2021.

Sardar Udham Singh 

Vicky Kaushal is coming up with a biographical film “ Sardar Udham Singh” a revolutionary freedom fighter best known for assassinating Michael O’Dwyer in London to take revenge for 1919 Jalianwala Bagh. The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Rising Sun Films in collaboration with Kino Works; “Sardar Udham Singh is scheduled to be theatrically released worldwide in the month of April 2021.

Hungama 2

A sequence of 2003 released spiritual successor film Hungama, the film is based on comedy concept which is directed by Priyadarshan and jointly produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Chetan Jain, and Armaan Ventures, the film features Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty, Hungama 2 marks the comeback of director Priyadarshan to Bollywood films after seven years, The film was initially scheduled for a theatrical release in India on 14 August 2020, However, production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India Priyadarshan has indicated the filming is scheduled to resume in mid-September 2020 and now the movie is going to release in the month of April.

Satyameva Jayate 2

Satyameva Jayate 2 is a sequel to the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate, Vigilante action film is based on the fight against injustice & misuse of power, the film is directed by Milap Zaveri and produced by T-Series in collaboration with Emmay Entertainment, In movie Johan Abraham reprising his role of Virendra Rathod with Divya Kholsa Kumar seen in the new female lead, Satyamev Jayate 2 hit the cinema hall on 12 May 2021, coinciding with Eid.

Bell Bottom

Khiladi Kumar bang the audience with her new upcoming Spy thriller film Bell Bottom which is directed by Ranjit M Tewari, bell-bottom bankrolled by Pooja Entertainment and Emmy Entertainment, the film features Akshay Kumar as the lead character, with Vanni Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta, the film was wrapped up on 30th September 2020 and going to release on this June.

Bhool Bhulaiya

Comedy Horror film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is the sequel of the iconic horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the movie features Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the lead roles The film was originally scheduled to be released in theaters on July 31, 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 and now makers plan to release the film in the month of June.

Jersey

Sports drama film Jersey is the journey of a thirty-six-year-old cricketer who stopped his cricketing career ten years ago, now aiming to play for the Indian team, the film features Shahid Kapoor as cricketer portrayed by Nani beside from that Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapur, the jersey is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and bankrolled by Aman Gill and Dil Raju, the film is the remake of 2019 released Telugu film of the same title, the official announcement for the film was made in October 2019, It was scheduled to be theatrically released on 28 August 2020 before the COVID-19 delayed production, The film was wrapped up on 14 December 2020, The film will theatrically release on 5 November 2021 on the occasion of Diwali.

The release plans have been communicated to the top national chains of India – PVR, and INOX – who are now working to get other arrangements in place. Though it’s just a tentative calendar and release dates are subject to change depending on the on-ground scenario taking Covid-19 as also the status of the exhibition sector, the important thing is everyone should be safe that time in theatres. And God forbid, if something happens it won’t be acceptable as we all know that COVID-19 is surging everywhere. It is still here and it will be here tomorrow as well.
