In a shocking crime straight out of a movie, a woman in Nalasopara East near Mumbai buried her husband’s body under floor tiles inside their home. The man, 35‑year‑old Vijay Chavan, had been missing for 15 days. His brothers noticed newly laid tiles and a strange smell. When they broke the tiles, they found a bloodstained vest and called the police.

Cops dug up the floor and found Vijay’s decomposed body buried four feet deep. His wife, 28‑year‑old Komal Chavan, is now the main suspect. Police believe she k*lled Vijay with help from a neighbour named Monu, who she was allegedly having an affair with. Both Komal and Monu are missing and are now wanted by police.

This m*rder has shocked the community. The case reminds many of the Bollywood thriller “Drishyam,” where a family hides a body under the floor. Police are checking CCTV footage and phone records to track the suspects. This case raises big questions about how real life may be copying reel life. What do you think—is fiction going too far?
