Mumbai’s Malabar Hill Gets Stunning Elevated Nature Walkway with Breathtaking Sea Views

Mumbai’s nature lovers have a new retreat! The city’s first-ever Elevated Nature Trail at Malabar Hill has officially opened after three years of development. Inspired by Singapore’s treetop walkways, this BMC-led project offers a refreshing way to experience Mumbai’s greenery from above.

Announcing the launch on X, BMC shared a video of the picturesque trail, captioning it: “An Elevated Nature Trail, inspired by Singapore’s Tree Top Walk, now winds through the lush Kamla Nehru Park and Firozeshah Mehta Garden. Open to the public, this trail lets Mumbaikars explore the treetops like never before.”

Stretching through the Malabar Hill forests, the walkway culminates with a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea near Girgaon Chowpatty. A nominal entry fee of ₹25 applies to Indian visitors, while international tourists will be charged ₹100.

The BMC’s video showcases a serene path flanked by dense foliage and vibrant flowers. Visitors can also soak in panoramic sea views from a special viewing deck, enhancing the immersive experience.

A delighted visitor shared, “We’ve been eagerly waiting for this since December. It’s amazing to have a treetop walk in Mumbai, just like Singapore. It allows people to connect with nature, watch birds, and enjoy the stunning view of Girgaon Chowpatty.”

With this scenic addition, Mumbai now boasts a perfect blend of urban life and nature, inviting locals and tourists alike to step into a peaceful green escape.
