Myntra Logo Controversy Is Not The Only One. Such Many More Are There Too

The Maharashtra state cyber police filed a complaint alleging the logo of e-commerce giant MYNTRA. The complaint was filed by one a Mumbai-based woman activist. She says that the logo was insulting and offensive towards women.

Naaz Patel a Mumbai based activist, who is related with the Avesta Foundation NGO filed the complaint in December 2020. She not only lodged the complaint but also took the matter across various platforms on social media. The myntra is backed by Flipkart. 

The reply from DCP Rashmi Karandhikar said “We found that the logo was offensive in nature for women. Following the complaint, we sent an email to Myntra and their officials came and met us. The officials said they will change the logo in a month’s time.” Due the effort of her the company said that they will change the logo within month. 

Although this is not the only one logo which was alleged to be offensive as there are various other logos of the giant companies too which needs to be highlighted.
