National Herald Case: Rahul Gandhi And Priyanka Reaches ED Office

Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, reached the Enforcement Directorate office for questioning in National Herald case. The Congress workers were seen protesting outside the party headoffice in Delhi, raising slogans against the Central government.

Before ED office, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi reached the Congress headoffice where the party workers and leaders were gathered to protest against the Central govt. Senior leaders including former CM and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh,  Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, former union minister P Chidambaram, Sachin Pilot, Jairam Ramesh Rajeev Shukla, Mukul Wasnik and Gaurav Gogoi were present at the party headoffice.

While the Gandhis are in the ED office and being questioned, the Congress party has planned to protest at a larger scale in Delhi. Yesterday, some Congress leaders urged the Delhi police to allow them to hold a protest march, but the police didn’t permit them. Other than Delhi, the Congress party has even planned to protest in many other states including Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and a few more states.

The grand-old-party has been accusing the Prime Minister and Home Minister for misusing the central agencies to muzzle the voice of the opposition. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi has also been summoned, but she sought more time after being tested Covid positive. She had been admitted to a hospital last night due to some health issues.

Meanwhile, with Rahul Gandhi being questioned by the ED, the Congress party is planning for a nationwide protest against the Central govt in the matter.
