There are many Bollywood movies which are remakes from other languages. After Nani’s Telugu sports drama Jersey, now another film is ready to be remade in Bollywood. And you will be glad to know that it’s a Punjabi film which will soon be turning into Hindi.
As per the reports of Pinkvilla, it has been suggested that one of the Punjabi movies is gearing up for its Hindi version. It is none other than Binnu Dhillon, Sargun Mehta and Jordan Sandhu starrer Punjabi romcom, Kala Shah Kala and will feature the extremely talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of Binnu Dhillon.

Yes, you read that right! A source close to the development said that the actor really likes the story and soon will fulfill all the formalities. “Nawazuddin Siddiqui has really liked the story and has agreed to be a part of the project. The paperwork and other formalities will be finalized soon. The film is expected to go on the floors in 2022, and the makers are presently working on finalizing the dates and other logistics. Meanwhile, the leading lady is yet to be finalised.”
Speaking of the film, Kala Shah Kala was released in 2019. It’s an Indian-Punjabi language romantic comedy that is produced by Infantry Pictures and Naughty Men Productions in association with Dreamiyata Entertainment.

Further, the film is directed and written by Amarjit Singh and was a commercial hit. While discussing its plot, the film revolves around a charming man who, because of his dark complexion, finds it difficult to find the love of his life.
