Neeraj Chopra Gave A Special Gift To His Parents, Wrote Dream Comes True

India’s only Olympic gold medallist in athletics Neeraj Chopra, fulfilled a “small dream” and is a proud son as he took his father, Satish Kumar who is a farmer and his mother, Saroj Devi, who is a housewife on their first flight this Saturday.

This javelin thrower took to social media to share pictures in which he can be seen boarding a plane with his parents. “A small dream of mine came true today as I was able to take my parents on their first flight,” Neeraj captioned the images while posting. 

As Neeraj Chopra posted pictures, fans on social media came in numbers with emotional and heartwarming messages for the star Indian athlete.

In the pictures, it is not clear where they were travelling, but the trio had huge smiles on their faces as Chopra’s parents took their first flight.

Meanwhile, Neeraj won the Olympic gold in Tokyo in the men’s javelin final with a throw of 87.58m. However, lack of training and an outbreak of illness since his return to India compelled Neeraj to end his 2021 campaign. 

He vowed to come back stronger next season which includes big events like World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
