Singer Neha Kakkar has made headlines after allegedly arriving three hours late to her Melbourne concert, where she later broke down in tears while apologizing to the audience. However, many in the crowd were not pleased and criticized her for the delay. Now, Neha has responded to the viral controversy, urging people to wait for the truth and warning that they will regret judging her too quickly.
On March 27, Neha shared a short but strong message on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Wait for the truth, you’ll regret judging me so quickly,” along with a sad emoji.

In a viral video from the concert, Neha is seen addressing the audience, acknowledging their patience. She said, “Guys, you are really sweet! You have been patient. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho (You have been waiting for so long). I hate it; maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya hai (I have never made anyone wait for so long).”
Despite her apology, several attendees voiced their frustration. Some shouted, “Go back! Rest in your hotel,” while others complained, “We have been waiting for three hours.”
Neha’s brother, Tony Kakkar, also appeared to comment on the controversy with a cryptic Instagram post. He questioned who should be held responsible when event organizers fail to make proper arrangements for an invited artist. While he did not mention anyone specifically, he also asked why only artists are expected to maintain professionalism while audiences are not held to the same standard.
Additionally, Aishwarya Ashokan, a dancer from Neha’s Sydney show, defended the singer. She called the backlash unfair and praised Neha’s dedication, stating that many in her position would have simply walked away.
