Netflix Deletes Squid Game Season 3 Announcement Video After Sparking Buzz, Fans Speculate If It Was a Marketing Move

Netflix’s most watched series Squid Game is constantly in the news. Its second season was released in the last days of the year 2024, which was also well liked by the audience. The first season of this popular web series came in 2021 and people had to wait for about 3 years for the second season. Now, Netflix shared an update related to it recently but now a new twist related to it has come to the fore.

Immediately after watching Squid Game Season 2, fans started waiting for its third part. Netflix also assured the audience that season 3 of the web series would be released soon. However, now it does not seem to be happening.

It was January 1, 2025 and everyone was wishing each other a Happy New Year. Meanwhile, Netflix announced season 3 by sharing a post on the official Instagram. Some people did not even watch the second season properly and in such a situation, announcing the new season seemed a bit surprising.

It was clearly written in the poster that season 3 of Squid Game will come on OTT in the year 2025. In the comment section, it was also written by Netflix, now it is Happy New Year. However, now it seems that Netflix did this inadvertently.

After sharing the poster, a teaser video was also shared on Netflix yesterday. In this too, giving information about the release date, it was told that the new season will come this year. It featured robot couple YoungHee and Chul Su. The excitement of the fans increased after watching it. However, later the video was deleted from Korea’s YouTube channel. Fans had already guessed that the OTT platform Netflix has done this by mistake. Now people on the internet have started wondering whether this was done by the makers to increase the discussion.
