Season 2 of The Family Man has been released on Amazon Prime Video and is earning a lot of appreciation from the fans. But it looks like there is a certain part of it that has offended a particular community.
Two hashtags; #BoycottAmazon and #FamilyMan2_against_Tamils were trending on Twitter recently.
Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) Chief Seeman has raised objections against the series streaming on Amazon Prime. He shared a tweet in which he talked about how The Family Man 2 is against Tamilians and should be banned in Tamil Nadu.
This translates as, “Let us take legal action and democratic action against The Family Man 2 which is against Tamilians. Let us stop it from screening!”
He also stated that The Family Man 1 hurt the sentiments of Muslims and now they are targeting Tamils with its season 2. Tamil Nadu Government already didn’t want this series to be released and the center put a ban on its release.
