Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has teamed up with German luxury carmaker Audi India, marking a new chapter in the athlete’s brand associations. The collaboration was officially announced by Audi India, which highlighted the alignment of core values shared between the javelin star and the automotive giant.
“I’ve always admired Audi – not just for the cars, but for what the brand stands for. As an athlete, these values resonate deeply with me. Whether it’s on the field or in life, the pursuit of excellence never stops. I’m excited to join the Audi family and represent a brand that inspires forward motion in everything it does,” Chopra stated, expressing his enthusiasm about the partnership.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, also lauded Chopra’s accomplishments and drive.
“Determined and iconic, his journey from ambition to achievement mirrors Audi’s progressive DNA. His focus, speed, and unmatched performance make him a natural extension of our brand—a symbol of what it means to lead, not follow,” Dhillon said.
While Chopra is now associated with Audi India, the brand has not yet confirmed whether he will be appointed as a formal brand ambassador. Notably, cricketer Virat Kohli has been affiliated with Audi since 2015, and in 2021, actress Kiara Advani became the brand’s first female ambassador.
Chopra’s partnership with Audi follows his recent strong performance at the Janusz Kusocinski Memorial in Poland, where he clinched second place with a final throw of 84.14 meters. Earlier, at the Doha Diamond League, he crossed the 90-meter mark, finishing just behind Julian Weber’s winning 91.06-meter throw.
