OMG 2 Put on Hold by Censor Board; Don’t Want Adipurush Backlash to Repeat

OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar is all set to release on August 11, 2023. The film is a sequel of Oh My God which was film about  an atheist man and how the God helps him to send a message across the believers. In the first part Akshay Kumar played the role of Lord Vishnu and this time in the second part he will be playing Lord Shiva. The trailer was released earlier this week.

Fans are excited to watch the sequel however the film hasn’t received a green signal from the censor board yet. Reportedly censor board has put the film on hold and has sent it to the revision committee for a detailed review. The board has sent the film for review because it doesn’t want the history to repeat after a major backlash that Adipurush received.

Although Akshay Kumar and director Amit Kumar are yet to react to the reports, a source said that there isn’t a major issue regarding this and said “The censor board process is on.”

Censor board also mentioned that the film has been sent to the committee after the board watched the entire film.
