Operation Lotus In Punjab? BJP Reacts Over The Aam Aadmi Party’s Big Claim! All You Need To Know

“Operation Lotus”, a term that haunts the opposition parties, moreover, in the states where the BJP has not been in power. Furthermore, in Punjab, where the saffron party has just 3 MLAs, the Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the BJP is trying to topple its government.

Senior AAP leader and cabinet minister Harpal Singh Cheema, in a press conference, said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has been trying to topple our government. A budget of ₹1,375 crore has been set by the BJP to break 55 MLAs from the other parties (35 of the AAP and 20 from the other parties).” Furthermore, he blamed the BJP for offering ₹25 crore per MLA.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party also reacted to the AAP’s claim. In a media statement, senior BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa made a big claim. “The AAP convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is trying to remove Bhagwant Mann from the post of CM. It’s all because Mr. Mann didn’t openly support the excise policy of Delhi government. Kejriwal Ji, this is not fair,” said Mr. Sirsa.

“An AAP MP told me that CM Bhagwant Mann has cleared it to Delhi CM Kejriwal that ‘you can’t remove me’, and this is why, when CM Mann is in Germany, all such things are happening,” he further added.

Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed to have electronic proofs on how the BJP tried to woo its MLAs by offering ₹25 crore to each MLA. Moreover, this all is happening when CM Bhagwant Mann is on a week-long tour of Germany from last Sunday. Now these claims have initiated a war of words between the AAP and the BJP.

The Aam Aadmi Party has been claiming that due to its increasing popularity in Himachal Pradesh as well as in Gujarat, the Bharatiya Janata party is frustrated, and that’s why it’s trying to topple the AAP governments in Delhi and Punjab. Furthermore, it’s for the first time that the Aam Aadmi Party is campaigning so actively in Gujarat, emerging as the main contender of the BJP.

This isn’t the first time that the AAP has claimed such a thing. Recently, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal blamed the BJP of trying to topple his government in Delhi, however, the claim was vehemently denied by the saffron party.
