“Stop Terrorism or Lose Geography”, Army Chief Warns Pakistan After Operation Sindoor

Army Chief warns Pakistan of geography loss over terrorism, recalls Operation Sindoor

India has issued one of its strongest warnings yet to Pakistan. Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, while addressing troops at an Army post in Rajasthan, made a direct and uncompromising statement.

He said:
“Pakistan should stop state-sponsored terrorism if it wants to remain in geography. If Pakistan does not change its ways, we will not maintain the restraint we did in Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time, our response will be even more decisive. India will not allow terrorism to thrive on its soil or across the border.”

His words underline that the Indian Army is prepared for a stronger and wider response if provoked again.

Operation Sindoor as a Turningr Point

General Dwivedi’s statement comes shortly after IAF Chief Amar Preet Singh confirmed that five Pakistani jets, including F-16 and JF-17 fighters, were downed during Operation Sindoor in May. The operation was carried out in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

During Operation Sindoor, India destroyed nine terror camps across Pakistan and PoK using long-range precision strikes. Indian forces ensured only terror infrastructure was targeted while avoiding civilian harm.

Pakistan’s False Claims Exposed

Pakistan had claimed that it had downed Indian fighter jets during the crisis, but India presented photographic proof of destroyed terror camps and Pakistani air bases.

General Dwivedi stressed:
“Had we not provided proof, Pakistan would have denied everything. Operation Sindoor was not against Pakistan’s military or civilians—it was specifically aimed at terror camps and those supporting terrorism.”

He also praised three brave officers—BSF 140th Battalion Commandant Prabhakar Singh, Major Ritesh Kumar, and Havildar Mohit Gaira—for their heroic roles in the operation.
