The case escalated further in November 2025 when authorities arrested Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh—also known as Salim Shaikh or Lavish—after he was deported from Dubai. Shaikh is believed to be closely associated with Dawood Ibrahim’s network.
During questioning, Shaikh told investigators he organised alleged high-profile rave parties for celebrities, politicians, and public figures.
