Bollywood’s internet favourite Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, has been summoned by the Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) in connection with a massive Rs 252 crore mephedrone trafficking operation. His name surfaced during the interrogation of a key accused, bringing fresh attention to the bold Orry drug case.
The summons was issued after an arrested drug trafficker claimed Orry had attended alleged high-profile parties where illegal substances were reportedly consumed. The influencer has been called for questioning to verify these statements and clarify whether he had any links—direct or indirect—to individuals involved in the Orry drug case.

How The 252 Crore MD Case Started
The investigation began in March 2024 when officers uncovered a fully functional mephedrone manufacturing unit in Sangli, Maharashtra. Over 126 kg of the synthetic drug was recovered, valued at approximately Rs 252 crore.
The case escalated further in November 2025 when authorities arrested Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh—also known as Salim Shaikh or Lavish—after he was deported from Dubai. Shaikh is believed to be closely associated with Dawood Ibrahim’s network.
During questioning, Shaikh told investigators he organised alleged high-profile rave parties for celebrities, politicians, and public figures. Among the names he mentioned were Orry, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan, and politician Zeeshan Siddique. These statements became the basis of the expanding Orry drug case.

Why Orry Has Been Summoned
Police clarified that Orry has not been named as an accused. His appearance is required purely to verify the claims made by the arrested trafficker and help establish background details related to the Orry drug case.
Orry, who was out of Mumbai when the notice was served, has requested a new date after November 25 to appear before the Ghatkopar ANC unit.
The influencer has had previous legal issues. In March 2024, he was booked by the Jammu and Kashmir Police for allegedly consuming alcohol in a restricted pilgrimage zone—another incident frequently recirculated online during discussions around the Orry drug case.
