The people in Afghanistan are currently living a life that is even worse than what they can imagine. It is known across the globe that militant group Taliban has taken over Afghanistan and has made new rules and regulations for the people to follow. For now, many people have left the country and many have lost their lives too. But those who are still trapped there are wishing for possible evacuation as soon as possible.
And you might get shocked to know the numbers, but the people trapped in Afghanistan also include 260 Sikhs who are looking forward to escaping the country. In a statement about the same, United Sikhs said,
“There are more than 260 Afghan citizens left at Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul, including women and over 50 children. This includes three newborns with one born on Saturday. We are in communication with governments in the United States, Canada, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, Tajikistan, Iran and the United Kingdom among others.”
With this, they also stated,
“We are also in communication with international aid agencies and non-governmental organisations trying to support rescue efforts in Afghanistan. In addition, our teams are communicating with companies that can execute rescue efforts on the ground in Afghanistan.”
