We were extremely excited to witness the superhit chemistry of Gippy Grewal with Neeru Bajwa on silver screens once again. And today with the release of Paani Ch Madhaani, it feels like a dream coming true. The movie directed by Vijay Kumar Arora is in the cinemas right now, and we cannot describe how excited and happy the fans were in the theatres. The family drama with the positivity in the sparkling story, Paani Ch Madhaani has turned out to be a great watch experience for us.
We are sure that we have already expressed how impressed we are with the movie, but still we are going to help you out with the detailed review (with No Spoilers). Starting with the soul i.e. the story of the movie, as already described well in the amazing trailer, Paani Ch Madhaani is the story of Gulli played by Gippy Grewal, Sohni played by Neeru Bajwa, and their other friends too. Together they are a group who perform in live shows. While each one of them suffers from poverty, luckily Gulli wins a lottery ticket of 21 lakh INR, but loses the lottery ticket. And if you believe that how they all manage to get the ticket back is all what the movie is about, your visit to the theatres will prove you wrong. There is a lot more that the movie offers which include a sweet n’ simple love story between Gippy and Neeru, friendship, family relationships, responsibilities and some unexpected and direct dig on topics like women empowerment and the harsh reality of big-fat male ego. So basically, yes the storyline of the movie is gripping and is going to prove worth watching.
And since the lead group of the movie is associated with singing and shows, we must talk about its music and playlist too. Undoubtedly the movie’s playlist feels very refreshing and full of life.
Moving ahead towards the acting and performances of actors, we cannot rate them, because each one of them turned out to be a fabulous one. Not only the leads; Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa, but others including Karamjit Anmol, Iftikhar Thakur, Harby Sangha and everyone impressed us with their individual screen space. Also, we are amused by the direction skills of Vijay Kumar Arora who has made sure that no scene is left lifeless on screens.
But talking about the point where the movie could have been a 5/5 for us, we believe if the second interval of the movie was as apt as the first one, we’d consider it as extremely perfect. As already mentioned above, the story of the movie has a lot to offer, but in our individual opinion, we believe the story was only focused on finding the lost lottery tickets, where many other aspects, especially the budding love story of Gulli and Sohni were left behind.
Still, overall the movie has satisfied our expectations. Watching Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa on screen is a blissful feeling that isn’t described but only felt.
So if you are even partially impressed with the songs and trailer of the movie, we bet you won’t be wasting your money and time if you decide to watch it. This family drama with good comedy and amazing dialogues deserves to be on your watchlist. Yes, we conclude Paani Ch Madhaani as a must-watch.
