Pakistan Army Backed Terror Acts in J&K; Indian Army After Operation Sindoor Victory

In a bold revelation following the successful Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has accused the Pakistan military of actively aiding terrorist infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir. In a press briefing, Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Northern Army Commander, declared that the Pakistan Army had made a conscious choice to back terror groups trying to disrupt peace in the region.

Operation Sindoor, conducted in the Uri sector of Baramulla, led to the neutralization of nine armed terrorists attempting to cross the Line of Control. The operation, named after the sacred red mark symbolizing marital commitment, was a tribute to the families of martyred soldiers. The Army recovered a significant cache of weapons, including 7 AK series rifles, over 400 rounds of ammunition, and more than 20 grenades.

The military leadership highlighted that despite India’s repeated calls for peace, Pakistan continues to violate ceasefire agreements by providing cover fire to terrorists and facilitating their infiltration. Lt Gen Dwivedi asserted that this was not a lapse but a deliberate, strategic decision by Pakistan’s army to support terrorism.

The Indian Army reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the nation and warned that any further attempts to breach Indian territory would be met with strong retaliation. The briefing emphasized that peace is the ultimate goal, but not at the cost of national security
