Punjabi actor and singer Parmish Verma recently spoke about how the 2018 shooting incident, in which he was wounded in the leg, deeply changed his outlook on life. In a heartfelt conversation with India Today, the Rocky Mental star shared how the traumatic event forced him to pause and reassess his priorities.
Verma admitted that the incident was a turning point, not just physically but emotionally as well. “When something like that happens, everything comes to a standstill. You’re left alone with your thoughts, unable to escape the reality of what just happened,” he shared. While his physical injuries eventually healed, the emotional scars took much longer to fade.
The Gaal Ni Kadni singer explained that the experience made him reevaluate what truly mattered. “It was a moment of deep reflection. I realized that some things I once took for granted suddenly became precious, while other things I had placed too much importance on no longer held meaning. My entire understanding of life shifted,” he revealed.
Though Verma chose not to delve into the specifics of the shooting, he acknowledged its profound impact on him. He described it as a period of self-discovery—one that reshaped his values and priorities in ways he never expected.
The harrowing experience may have left a mark on him, but it also gave him a newfound appreciation for life.
