Parmish Verma’s ‘Main Te Bapu Movie’ Shooting Goes On Hold

The shooting for Parmish Verma’s Main Te Bapu has been temporarily put on hold. The decision was taken by the makers of the movie owing to severe legal actions being taken by Punjab Police against COVID guidelines violators. Though the team did not receive any warnings to stop the shooting, the decision was totally deliberate and taken by the makers of the movie themselves.

The reason behind the action can also be traced back to a few days ago, when Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal, with 100 others, was booked for shooting amid weekend lockdown in force.

Gippy was shooting for a movie in a village in the Patiala district of Punjab when the police raided the scene and the shooting had to be immediately stopped. Many clips of the ground had gone viral on social media.
