Pasoori’s Singer Shae Gill Defends Arijit Singh’s Pasoori Nu after Several Criticisms and Trolls

We all loved Ali Sethi’s Pasoori and the song became an instant hit just after its release. It received immense interest from the people across the globe. It was the most searched song in 2022. The makers of Satya Prem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani recently released a new version of Pasoori  which has been receiving constant criticism.

The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar and is called Pasoori Nu. The original Pakistani track Pasoori was sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. After the release of Pasoori Nu, by Arijit Singh, people started flooding the comment section and trolling the makers. Amid the constant hatred, Shae Gill took to Instagram and supported the new version of Pasoori Nu.

She wrote, “I actually found out about the remake through you guys but also, I wanted to talk about all of the hate that people have been sending towards the new song. I understand that you all love the original Pasoori so much and I am so grateful for all the love. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am but also at the same time I don’t want you to be sending hate to someone else”. She also added that “look at it as a rendition rather than a remake”.

She also wrote, “And if it’s something you don’t like at all then I would say don’t listen to it. Instead of sending hate, don’t listen to it because not liking something and talking about it in your home is still fine but if you are publicly humiliating and insulting someone then it’s not very nice, is it?”.

In this movie, which Sajid Nadiadwala and Sameer Vidwans are directing, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will reunite on the big screen after 2022. Earlier, this film was supposed to be called Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which is another name of Hindu Deity Vishnu, but after several criticisms, the name was changed to Satya Prem Ki Katha.
