OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar and Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol saw their blockbuster openings today on August 11, 2023. Both these films are sequels of their superhit original films.
The promotions were sky high and both of these films were in headlines for a couple of reasons.
OMG 2 faced troubles from the censor board in receiving the certificate while Gadar 2 was trending for its songs and uncanny originality.
Apart from all the troubles, one of the major issue these films are now facing is piracy.
As per the reports by Koimoi.com, OMG 2 and Gadar 2 have been leaked online on various piracy platforms and are available in HD qualities. So now, the leaked versions of these films is available for free downloading in HD qualities.
The fanbase of Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol is so strong that these films are likely to get affected by the piracy. Sunny Deol’s last hit was Yamla Pagla Deewana and after that, the actor is making a major comeback in his acting career. Gadar 2 has come after 22 years and the simplicity of the film is still intact. The starcast of the film is also the same along with few songs.
OMG 2 on the other hand was a much awaited sequel of OMG, a film starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. Akshay’s fans have also been waiting for a superhit by the actor as his previous films like Ram Setu, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan etc did not fare well at the box office.
Another reason why these films are attracting a lot of audience is their songs. Mai Nikla Gaddi Leke, Ud Ja Kale Kava and OMG 2’s Mahadeva chant are super vibing and reminiscing.
Owing to all these reasons, it is unlikely that piracy will affect these films but let’s see what the destiny holds.
