Punjab 95 Release Postponed Again; Diljit Dosanjh Apologizes for Delay

Diljit Dosanjh has announced that the release of his much-anticipated film Punjab 95 has been delayed once again. Originally scheduled for release on February 7, the film will no longer hit theaters on that date, both domestically and internationally. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Diljit shared, “We are very sorry, and it pains us to inform you that the movie Punjab ’95 will not release on 7th Feb due to circumstances beyond our control.”

Punjab 95, directed by Honey Trehan and produced by RSVP Movies, tells the story of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who fought for justice for the victims of enforced disappearances in Punjab. The film has garnered immense attention, particularly for its teaser, which received widespread praise. However, the teaser faced an unexpected setback when it was blocked on YouTube India, fueling speculation about the film’s release.

This marks the latest in a series of delays for the project. Earlier, the film had been postponed due to production challenges and external pressures, and now its release date remains uncertain. Despite these obstacles, Diljit has assured fans that he is committed to releasing the film without any cuts, staying true to the integrity of the story. The actor has expressed his sincere apologies for the delay and promised to keep the audience updated.
