Punjab, Haryana and NCR: NIA Raids At Various Locations Over Suspected Terror Gangs Linked To Sidhu Moose Wala Case

Sidhu Moose wala murder case has been one of the burning issues in Punjab since May 29 when the eminent Punjabi singer was shot dead at his native village in Mansa. Recently, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav, in a press conference, asserted that there is a Nexus between the Punjab based gangs and the terror groups operating from Pakistan.

Moreover, today, as per the latest development, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) launched a search operation at almost 50 places across the country, mainly in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi NCR. Reportedly, these raids have been conducted at the premises of those associated with the gangsters or terror groups.

This comes a day after Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav’s press conference. “There is a strong nexus between the Punjab gangsters and the terror groups operating from Pakistan, and the ISI has been exploiting it,” said DGP Gaurav Yadav in his PC yesterday. Moreover, the Punjab police, in a joint operation with Delhi police, have arrested 3 more suspects.

The investigation in Moose Wala murder case revealed the vast criminal network of Bishnoi, linked to Pakistan. The police discovered that Rinda, who they later discovered to be based across the border, had earlier hired Bishnoi’s men to kill a Shiv Sena senior leader; however, this plan was abandoned due to tight security, and on May 10, Rinda asked them to carry out an RPG attack on the state police headquarters in Mohali.

On Saturday, Deepak alias Mundi, the chief shooter of Sidhu Moose Wala Case, had been nabbed in a joint operation of Delhi police and Central agencies. As of now, a total of 23 suspects have been arrested in the case. Moreover, apart from the Punjab AGTF, the Delhi police as well as the Central agencies have been working day and night to nab the gangsters.
