Punjab Police Makes The Riders Aware Of Traffic Rules Through The Popular Meme

“Ye hum hein”, “Ye hmari site hai” aur “Ye hum aapke saath news share kr re hein”. Pakistani instagram influencer, Dananeer’s “Pawri hori hai” meme has taken the country like a storm. From meme pages to celebrities, everyone is giving their useful contribution in making the meme viral. Even Yashraj Mukhate has made his contribution by making the “Pawri hori hai” song. Now, Punjab police has decided to step into the memeground.

Punjab police’s official instagram handle shared a post featuring the Pawri hori hai meme, on tuesday. With a picture of a family having a ride in a car with fastened seat belts, the post said “Ye hum hain, Ye humari family hai, Aur hum sabhi seat belt pehntey  hain”.

The caption spread awareness among the people of Punjab to always drive safely and wear seat belts.

Such ways of spreading awareness and friendly interpretation of important issues makes the people, especially the youth, get connected to the authorities and develops a feeling of oneness. As it is said “Obey from love is better than to obey from fear”. Traffic accidents won’t stop until the people start obeying traffic rules for their own safety rather than from fear of police or challans. Infact, it’is our own and our loved one’s lives we are risking by not obeying traffic rules.
