Punjabi Singer Kamal Khaira & Two Friends Arrested For Alleged Assault Of Two Brothers

Punjabi singer Kamal Khaira has recently made headlines after he was arrested in Chandigarh along with his two friends. The trio was arrested for their alleged involvement in violence and the assault of two brothers. 

The incident took place on 10 May, Wednesday when the Punjabi singer first hit the car of two brothers and then thrashed them. Hardik Ahluwalia, the victim of the case, told police that he and his brother were passing by near Punjab University’s gate number 2 when the singer, trying to overtake them, hit their car.

He also revealed that when they tried to talk to them about the car hit, the Punjabi singer got physical with them. The brothers were admitted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital and then protested in front of PU’s gate and demanded an FIR on Kamal Khaira and his friends. 

As per the reports of The Tribune and Amar Ujala, The complaint was filed against Khaira, his friend Randhir and one other for hitting the victims’ car, threatening and assaulting them. FIR was registered considering sections 279, 337, 323, 341 and 506 of the IPC at the Sector 11 police station.

Following the serious matter, the Punjab University authorities have now banned vehicles inside the premises. The singer Kamal Khaira and his two companions were arrested on 14 May and were released on bail.
