Punjabi songs that Bollywood recreated and ruined!

Are you also one of those who are really disappointed by the latest versions of Punjabi songs, remixed, recreated, and remade by Bollywood? If yes, then we are in the house too. And not only us, but there are many Pollywood Celebrities also, with the same mindsets. Recently Maninder Buttar on his Instagram live session discussed the same in conversation with Garry Sandhu. Garry has already launched two of his songs in Bollywood, whereas Maninder Buttar told that he was asked for recording a Hindi version of Sakhiyan, which he denied, and now, the superhit song Sakhiyan will be released by Bollywood as it is. We really appreciate this step by Maninder, as we believe he has saved one beautiful song from getting ruined and losing its originality. But, here on the list are some songs which have been already recreated by Bollywood and made lifeless.

Laung Laachi

Laung Laachi originally sung by Mannat Noor was remade in the voice of Tulsi Kumar by Bollywood and was such a big disappointment. We couldn’t even imagine one day this Laung Laachi will become Laung Elaachi.

Soch

No doubt Arijit Singh is an amazing singer and every song he even touches is a superhit, and so was, Soch from Airlift. But the way one can never compare a Biryani with Pulav, one can not compare the original and remake versions of Soch. We personally believe, Soch Na Sake could not even touch the standards of feelings and emotions set by Hardy Sandhu’s Soch.

Dil Chori Sada Ho Gaya

The original Dil Chori by the legend Hansraj Hans was a track that. made us groove on the dance floors like crazy. But the remake by Honey Singh for Sonu Ki Teetu Ki Sweety was somehow a disgrace to the original track.

Mundya Toh Bach Ke Rahin

This original track was a fabulous and mind-blowing project by Punjabi MC, and we all agree to the fact that the makers of Baaghi 2 have completely ruined the feel and originality of it.

Tote Tote Ho Gya

We can’t even express the feeling we had when we heard Hansraj Hans’s beautiful song, Tote Tote Ho Gaya, becoming the remix version, Chhote Chhote Peg.

Gud Naal Ishq Mittha

The remake of Gud Naal Ishq Mittha in the film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga is a disgrace to the original version of it sung by Malkit Singh. No doubt, both the versions have got their fan.

Aaya Laadiye

For a moment one can ignore other songs, which Bollywood has made nothing less than trash. But when it comes to folk, it’s really disappointing. Have you listened to the Aaya Laadiye from the movie, Door Ke Darshan?

“Laadiye” even not pronounced well and guess what Jyotica Tangri a Jalandhar born sang it. At least get your diction right Bollywood.

Kinna Sohna Tainu Rab Ne Banaya

This song of Late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has been remade not once, but twice by Bollywood. One for the Film, Raja Hindustani as Kitna Pyara Tujhe Rab Ne Banaya & another for the film, Marjaavan. No matter how big hit one song becomes if it’s a remake and disturbs the originality of the track, it’s disappointing.

Rail Gaddi

Rail Gaddi Aayi from the film Tutak Tutak Tutiya is a remake which lacks the original vibe of the song. While the original made us break the dance floors with our gang of friends.

No doubt, Bollywood is doing excellent and setting good examples in all over the world. But when they step back and recreate old songs again & again, it’s a sign that they’re really lacking in creating original content. We hope we don’t have to come across more such disappointments.
