Punjabi Teen Murder Case: Father Made Major Revealtions About Reason Of Killing

The news about the 18-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed on Tuesday in the parking lot of Tamanawis Secondary School in the Newton neighbourhood, has been trending across the media. Notably, Mehakpreet Singh, a young Punjabi teen, was killed by a 17-year-old who stabbed him when he was going to pick his younger brother.

According to information obtained from IANS, speaking with the deceased’s family led to the discovery of numerous shocking claims made by Mehakpreet Sethi’s relatives. Moreover, the father of the deceased has admitted to media that he regrets relocating to Canada with his family. The incidence has shocked the masses, especially the Punjabis living in Canada.

Harshpreet Sethi, Mehakpreet’s father, said, “When I went to the hospital, the doctors told me that the weapon directly pierced his heart, which is why he died.” Reportedly, it’s been 8 years since the family moved from Dubai to Canada. However, Mehakpreet’s death has depressed his father Harshpreet Sethi. “I came to Canad for better future of my kids, now I regret why I moved to this country,” said Harshpreet.

Furthermore, as per the reports, 18-year-old Mehakpreet had an argument with his 17-year-old friend, ending up in a fight leading to Mehakpreet being stabbed brutally. “He would have just slapped or hit his arms or legs instead of taking his life,” said Mehakpreet’s father to a media personnel. Reportedly, Mehak was not the member of the school community, he went their to pick his younger brother Bhavpreet. Moreover, since Mehakpreet’s case went viral on the media, users on social media have been questioning the safety of Indian nationals living abroad. Last month, a Sikh family was brutally murdered in the US, after which similar questions were raised. Notably, every year a lot of immigrants and students go abroad for higher studies, moreover, they plan to settle there. Though crimes happen everywhere, however, these type of incidents are scary for those planning to move abroad.
