Stree 2: Rajkummar Rao And Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Stree 2 Surpasses Pathaan, Jawaan And Gadar 2, Crosses ₹400 Cr Mark Worldwide

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s horror comedy ‘Stree 2’ is breaking all records at the box office. This film of Amar Kaushik made strong earnings at the box office on Friday, 23 August. The film has completed nine days in theaters. Released on August 15, the film has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark globally. In India it has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark. The film has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide. Production house Maddock Films on Thursday shared that after earning Rs 342 crore in India and Rs 59 crore overseas, ‘Stree 2’ has earned a total of Rs 401 crore worldwide within seven days of its release. By Thursday the earnings had reached around Rs 417 crore. At the same time, on Friday the film earned Rs 16.50 crore, taking its total collection in India to Rs 308.15 crore.

With this, ‘Stree 2’, the sequel to the 2018 film ‘Stree’, has become the fastest Bollywood film to reach Rs 400 crore. It has beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ (11 days), Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ (11 days), SRK’s ‘Pathaan’ (12 days), Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2′ (12 days), Prabhas’ Baahubali 2. :The Conclusion’ Hindi version (15 days) and Yash’s KGF.

Stree 2′ has become the highest grossing film for lead actress Shraddha Kapoor. Till now, her biggest-grossing film was the 2019 film ‘Saaho’, co-starring Prabhas. It had earned Rs 310.60 crore across all languages, while the Hindi dubbed version had earned Rs 145.67 crore.
