Rana Ranbir Pens About Meeting Aamir Khan & Writing Dialogues For Laal Singh Chaddha

Actor, writer and director Rana Ranbir has proved to be a gem with his work in Punjabi Film Industry. And now, he is also all set to mark his debut in Bollywood Film Industry. And this is going to be huge, as Rana Ranbir is taking his footstep to Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

Rana Ranbir has been a part of amazing movies like Jatt & Juliet, Punjab 1984, Channo Kamli Yaar Di, Ardaas and more. He is also known for writing stories for movies like Ardaas, Posti and Maa.

And now, his talent will flow to the masses with the release of Laal Singh Chaddha. You might now know that Rana Ranbir has contributed to the film by penning the punjabi dialogues. Yes, the actor took to his Instagram account and shared the news with fans. 


Not only the news, but Rana Ranbir has also described his experience after meeting Aamir Khan. In the note, Rana Ranbir stated, ‘ਇਸ ਫਿਲਮ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਚ ਡਾਇਲਾਗ ਲਿਖਣ ਲਈ ਜਦ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ Amir ਭਾਅ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ virtual ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਹੋਈ ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਗੋਆ ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ੂਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੁੰਦਿਆ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਜਾਣਾ ਸੀ। ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਥੋੜੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਕਾਹਲ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਮ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਂ? ਇਸ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਆਮਿਰ ਭਾਅ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਈ ਹਫਤੇ ਬਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਖਾਨ ਸਾਹਬ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ, ਕਿਰਤੀ, ਸਿਰੜੀ, ਅਸਲ ਸਰੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹਨ। waiting for this film.’


(I was shooting in Goa when I had a virtual conversation with Aamir Bhai for the first time to write dialogues in Punjabi for this film. I was supposed to go to Mumbai as soon as the shooting was over. A little joy was dancing inside me but there was no rush. I was acting like normal days. Why? The answer to this was found after spending many weeks with Aamir Bhaaji. Khan Sahab is the epitome of calmness, hard work, level-headed, real listener and discipline.)

With this, Rana Ranbir also extended his support for Laal Singh Chaddha by writing that he is waiting for the film. He also used the hashtag ‘Support Laal Singh Chaddha’ under his post. 


Earlier, author Manga Singh Antal who inspired the Dakuaan Da Munda 2 also extended his support to this film. He also shared an Instagram post and stated he will watch the film again and again. 


Now heading toward the film, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the 1994 Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’. It was based on Winston Groom’s novel with the same name that was released in 1986. The film starring Aamir Khan will be released on 11 August in a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan.
