Ranveer Allahbadia Approaches Supreme Court, Requests The Apex Court To Club The FIRs And Demands Urgent Hearing

Ranveer Allahbadia, who got into trouble for making obscene comments on parents, reached the Supreme Court on Friday, 14 February. He not only filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the court, but also appealed that all the FIRs against him be clubbed together. He also demanded that his case be heard soon.

Many FIRs have been registered against Ranveer Allahbadia across the country. NCW also filed a complaint against Ranveer Allahbadia and asked him to appear. Khar Police also issued summons to Ranveer Allahbadia and called him for questioning. The second summons was sent by Assam Police, but he did not appear. And now Ranveer Allahbadia reached the Supreme Court in connection with the registration of many FIRs against him. But he has got a big shock because the Supreme Court refused to hear the case soon.

It is known that Ranveer Allahbadia had made a vulgar and obscene joke about parents in Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Latent’. Protests are going on in the country regarding this. Apart from Ranveer, an FIR was also filed against 5 people including Samay Raina. However, Ranveer Allahbadia has also apologized publicly, but the uproar is not coming to an end.

Referring to this case in the Supreme Court, lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud said that several FIRs have been filed against Ranveer Allahbadia and Assam Police has called him to appear today. In such a situation, he has requested the court to order the hearing of all the FIRs and complaints filed against Ranveer Allahbadia at one place, so that there is no need to run around much to go to different states.

According to the report of NDTV, Ranveer Allahbadia’s lawyer appealed to the court to hear the case soon. But the Supreme Court refused and said to contact the registry first. CJI Sanjeev Khanna also refused to give a date.

Ranveer has to appear before the police today. He was summoned twice. He had to record his statement at Khar Police Station on Thursday, February 13. But Ranveer Allahbadia did not appear and requested that his statement be recorded at his home. But this was rejected by Mumbai Police. Now Ranveer will have to go to the police station and record his statement. On the other hand, NCW and Mumbai Police have sent summons to Sameer Raina and asked him to appear within five days.
