Rapper Fredo Arrested: What are the Charges Against Him?

British rapper Fredo whose real name is Marvin Bailey was arrested on Sunday at Heathrow Airport. He was returning from Barbados after spending his holiday there. Fredo’s arrest broke the internet, as he was detained hours before his new track was released.

He was arrested by a group of four officers who handcuffed him at the airport runway and took him into custody at 7 a.m. He was later released without being charged.

Reason for Arrest of Fredo

Reportedly, Fredo was arrested after a court issued a warrant against him before the release of his new song, Toxis Trait, featuring Stormzy. The moment the track was released, it became trending at number 1 on the YouTube music chart. This is not new for Fredo.

He was also banned for three years from driving on the roads. He faced this punishment because he was caught for “drug driving”. He kept more than the legal cannabis limit in a Range Rover Velar worth £55,000 in Edmonton, North London.

Toxis Trait is Stormzy’s first drop of 2023, and the song features Fredo and is produced by Santan Dave.

Fredo is an English rapper and singer who hails from Kilburn, London. He has an English and Moroccan descent through his mother and Barbadian descent through his father. Fredo also had a UK No. 1 single in 2018 with another rapper, Dave. The single was called ” Funky Friday”.
