Mahabharata Fame Popular TV & Film Actor Rasik Dave Dies At 65!

Popular television and film actor Rasik Dave died at the age of 65 on 29 June 2022, Friday. The reason behind his death is reported to be kidney failure. It is also said that he was suffering from dialysis for the last two years.

Rasik took his last breath in Mumbai, and his last rites are expected to be performed on Saturday. He was popular for playing various characters in mainstream Hindi television daily soaps and movies also.

He was also a popular name in the world of Indian theater and also owned a theater company. He was renowned for playing the role of Nand in the highly acclaimed mythological show Mahabharata during the 80s. Another popular role that he played was Karsandas Dhansukhlal Vaishnav in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki.

Apart from various daily soap shows, and some Hindi movies, he has also acted in various Gujarati movies. He was married to Ketki Dave who also is a popular actress, especially in Gujarati Film Industry.

The couple was massively popular in the Gujarati drama and film industry. The fans and their industry friends are shocked and saddened to hear the news. Fans are expressing their grief on social media through tribute videos and notes.

As per the report of Etimes, Rasik had been battling kidney-related ailments and he was on dialysis for the past couple of years; his last one month was painful as his kidneys continued to deteriorate. Rasik is survived by his wife Ketki and their son and daughter.
