The upcoming Punjabi movie Kali Jotta has been a fascinating project since the time it was announced. While the Punjabi film industry is seen making last-minute adjustments and changes in release dates, the release of this awaited film has also been postponed.
Kali Jotta was supposed to release on 25 March 2022 when it was first announced, then it was preponed to 11 March and then was again shifted to release on 17 June. After the expected release date has passed already, the makers of Kali Jotta have postponed the film once again. And this time it seems like a long wait.

As per the latest update on the film, Kali Jotta will no longer be released this year. The film will hit the silver screens in 2023 on 3 February.
The romantic film will feature Neeru Bajwa, Satinder Sartaaj and Wamiqa Gabbi in the leading roles. Vijay Kumar Arora is directing this exciting project which is written by Harinder Kaur. Thanking Harinder for this special film, Neeru had specially dedicated a post for the writer in which she mentioned Kali Jotta is the most difficult yet satisfying movie of her career till now.
Wamiqa Gabbi had also shared a post expressing gratitude to be a part of Kali Jotta. This amazing star cast will share the screens together for the first time in this movie, hence its release was awaited.
But now it looks like the fans will have to wait a little longer as the makers have no plan to release the film in 2022 anymore.

Apart from this, there is no update on the release date of Neeru Bajwa’s another movie Snowman. This film has also witnessed changes in its release date various times. As per the last update, Snowman was supposed to hit the silver screens on 22 July, and since it did not happen, we are waiting for the team to update on the same.
