A couple of months back, actor Hardeep Grewal who marked his presence with the motivational film ‘Tunka Tunka’ has just announced his upcoming movie S.W.A.T. PUNJAB. S.W.A.T is an acronym for Special Weapons And Tactics, a generic term for law enforcement military-like units within the US Police force. During that time he has not shared many details about the upcoming film.
But now with the start of the new year, artists of the Punjabi industry are gearing up for the release date and announcement of their upcoming songs or movies. Hardeep Grewal has also joined the league and announced the release date of the upcoming film S.W.A.T. Punjab.

As per the poster and his caption, the film has been made on the real incident. He wrote, ‘Inspired from Dinanagar terrorist attack of 2015, Our film will be a tribute to the young lads of punjab police who fought bravely without even caring about their lives.’ The film will be released on 5 August 2022.
Now, after hearing the release date of the movie, people got thrilled and started wishing love and luck to the artist.
