Actress Saba Qamar & Bilal Saeed Relieved By Pakistan Court! Here Is The Complete Matter

Actress Saba Qamar and popular Punjabi singer Bilal Saeed have been finally relieved by the Pakistan Court of desecration charges. In the court’s final 8-page decision, it was said that the duo did not intendedly disrespect or damage the property.

An FIR was filed against Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar in 2020 for shooting a dance video at a historic mosque. Also, they were alleged to desecrate the religious place.

Not only this, but the Punjab government had also suspended two senior officers for the violation of the mosque’s sanity. Saba and Bilal also apologized for their acts and also had to fight various death threats.

But finally, in the judgment, the session court dismissed all the allegations against Saba and Seed.

Now, as per reports, Judge Mushtaq said, ‘The investigating officer did not find any evidence to suggest that the two intentionally damaged, defiled or disrespected the place of worship. Rather, they being artists, joined the shooting with prior permission from the Auqaf department and religious affair[s] department, the government of Punjab, Lahore.”

The verdict also added, “During the investigation of the case, no music player was taken into possession. So nothing has come on surface that [the] petitioners played any song at the place of worship, therefore, in my view the charge against the petitioners would be said as groundless, and when the charge would be groundless, there would be no need [for] the trial of the case.”

Earlier in 2021, district court Lahore had dismissed the arrest warrants against both Bilal and Saba.
