When Sai Pallavi Was Beaten Up After Her Love Letter Was Caught By Parents

Sai Pallavi is an extremely popular actress from South Indian Film Industry who has acted in various Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies. She is currently garnering positive responses from fans for her recently released movie Virata Parvam. The film stars Rana Daggubatti and Sai Pallavi in the leading roles. 

While Rana played the role of a popular writer, Sai played his admirer who risked her life to send him a letter. The film was released on 17 July in theatres and is now streaming on Netflix.

Recently, both Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubatti appeared in one of the interviews with The Village Show. The video of the same has been released on the official YouTube channel of Netflix. While the interview was on, the host asked Sai about her character who sends a love letter to Rana in the film. the interviewer asked her if she has ever done something like this in real life too? 

To this, Sai responds by confessing a fun story from her childhood. The actress revealed she had written a love letter only once in her life and that too was caught by her parents. And she was beaten up by her parents for the same.

She is seen saying, “In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”


The interviewer then asked the same question to Rana as well, who politely revealed he had only written a love letter to his late grandmother. “Well, I wrote one to my Grandfather in Karamchedu in my childhood. That was all. I didn’t write letters to anyone after that”, said Rana Daggubatti.
